I was hoping this would work better, but it cooled down way too quickly during my cookout and pretty much threw everything off. I had guests waiting around, food taking forever, and I ended up frustrated the whole time. I expected it to hold heat much better than this, so at this point I feel like I need to reach out to customer service because this was a disappointing experience.

Tried the accessories, but nothing fit right. Kind of a letdown.

I really wanted to like the Nomad Grills site because at first glance it does look slick. But after a minute, the whole thing started feeling a little too designed, like someone said, “What if we made this stylish, but also mildly annoying to use?”

The photos are huge, which is great, I guess, if the goal is to admire grill glamour shots instead of actually figuring out where anything is. Some parts felt cramped, and I kept scrolling around trying to understand what I was even looking at.

Maybe this style works for other people, but for me it came across messy and kind of cold. Not exactly the warm, welcoming first impression I was hoping for

The customer service was just alright. They took a while to reply (which was a little frustrating), but they did end up helping me in the end. Not the fastest experience, but it got sorted eventually...

I was disappointed with how fast this goes through fuel. It feels wasteful, i don’t think it’s right for a product to burn through fuel that quickly when people are trying to be practical and responsible with what they use.

I was hoping this would be easier to carry around, but it’s sorta bulky and not as portable as I thought it would be.

It works alright overall, but I’m still getting flare-ups when cooking greasy burgers. I was expecting it to respond a bit faster and keep things under control better

I ordered a grill and the shipping process was frustrating. The tracking didn’t update for days, then the delivery date got changed twice with no real explanation. When I tried to contact them, I had to keep verifying my info over and over, which just made the whole thing even more annoying. I finally emailed them to get a straight answer, and the grill showed up way later than expected. The product itself might be fine, but the shipping experience was bad enough that I probably wouldn’t order from them again...

I’ve used this a few times now for grilling, and I kind of regret not getting it earlier. Cleanup has been painless overall. A little grease does hang around the edges, but once it cools down, it wipes off without much effort. I’d probably give it 5 stars if the tray were just a bit smoother, but I’m still happy with it.

I know a lot of people seem to have no problem keeping this thing steady, but that definitely wasn’t my experience. The temp kept shooting up and then dropping way too low, and I felt like I was constantly adjusting the vents instead of actually cooking. The food ended up uneven, and compared to what others make it look like, this was just frustrating.

I’ll give it this: it looked decent when I first got it, so I had higher hopes than I probably should’ve. But after just a few uses, it started falling apart. Not exactly what I’d call durable

I really wanted to be impressed by the Nomad grill, and to be fair, it does cook well. It feels sturdy, looks nice, and definitely gives off that “premium” vibe they’re clearly going for. I just sort of assumed that paying this much would mean you actually get a little more included, but apparently that was optimistic of me.

Once you start adding accessories and shipping, the price climbs quickly, which is fun if you enjoy being surprised at checkout. There are definitely cheaper grills out there that do basically the same thing without making you feel like you’ve joined some exclusive outdoor cooking club. It’s not a bad grill at all, I just wouldn’t say the value is exactly jumping out at me

The grill looks nice, I’ll give it that. But actually using it… kind of a hassle. Setup took longer than I thought it would. A few parts were awkward to deal with too. Not awful or anything. Just not as simple as I expected, especially for the price.

I’ve used my Nomad a handful of times now, it cooks really well. It heats up quicker than I expected and holds heat surprisingly well for something this size, which is kind of the main thing you want, right?

The steaks I made had a really nice sear, and the chicken cooked evenly too. I did have to mess with the vents a bit, especially the first time, so it wasn’t totally perfect right away, but I’m guessing that’s normal with this style of grill.
I’m giving it 4 stars because the temperature control takes a little time to figure out. Once you get a feel for it, though, it does a great job and feels like something that’ll only get easier the more I use it

The grill does the job well enough, but right out of the box I just had a feeling it wasn’t as solid as I expected. The metal feels thin, and a few pieces didn’t quite line up the way they should. Maybe it’ll hold up fine, but my gut says it’s not built as sturdy as it should be for the price.
